Good Morning Maywood DaVinci Cougars,

"Please stand for the pledge of allegiance (pause) salute (pause) pledge" pause  "Thank you, please be seated".

Today is Thursday, February 22nd.  Lunch today is Chicken taco OR turkey deli sandwich and sun chips with salad bar and milk.

Students, in the morning when you are dropped off at school you are not allowed to leave campus even to go get food - no leaving campus.  That is considered being truant.

Staff, make sure you check your email each day. There may be new list for ELPAC testers.  They need to be in Room 1 at the beginning of 7th period.

Mrs. Miller will be having a basketball camp for girls and boys in June for one week. The camp will be right here in the Maywood Davinci Gym. If you are interested, see Mrs. Miller to get a camp brochure. There are 4 sessions for 3rd-12th graders.  Space is limited so she is only accepting 50 kids in each session so make sure you get signed up soon so you don’t miss out on the camp.

7th and 8th grade Boys basketball have pictures Friday right after school in the gym. They need to bring their jersey and their order form with money if they are buying some.

All 7th and 8th grade students going to the Sacramento Kings game this Saturday must come to a quick meeting today after school in the Maywood DaVinci gym.  You will be given a parent letter and permission slips that must be turned into your coach or Mr. White before you are allowed on the bus Saturday.  If you have any questions, please talk with Mr. White.

Don't forget to purchase your yearbook.  They are on sale in the office now.  Make sure you buy yours early.  They are $25.

We are excited to announce the winners of the completed college and career day passport drawing.  We have one 7th grader and one 8th grader who will get to enjoy pizza.  Congratulations to Jayden Raulin and Sophia Slaughter.  Come on up and see Ms. Sheila to make arrangements.  Nice job fully filling out your passports.

Okay Cougars, have a fantastic day and make sure you show Responsibility, Integrity, Safety, Courtesy!
